I’ve been telling stories in comic books professionally since 1984 starting with Comico Comics’ ROBOTECH MASTERS.I’ve worked on books such as SUPERMAN ADVENTURES,TARZAN THE WARRIOR,UNTOLD TALES OF SPIDER-MAN:STRANGE ENCOUNTERS,TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES, CONGORILLA, NINJAK, PARLIAMENT OF JUSTICE,THE BLACK FOREST 1 & 2, THE WICKED WEST 1 & 2,FLESH & BLOOD 1-4, EAGLE and DR.STRANGE: FROM THE MARVEL VAULT #1…among many others. I’ve recently finished new EAGLE books with writer Jack Herman,through the American Mythology company.

Ethan Van Sciver is a veteran artist at DC Comics, beginning on IMPULSE and working through covers and interiors on titles like GREEN LANTERN, FLASH, JUSTICE LEAGUE, BATMAN: THE DARK KNIGHT, JSA, BATMAN AND CATWOMAN: TRAIL OF THE GUN, SENSATION COMICS FEATURING WONDER WOMAN, HAWKMAN, AQUAMAN and SINESTRO.   Tons of stuff.  He’s best known for his collaborations with GEOFF JOHNS, including GREEN LANTERN: REBIRTH, FLASH:REBIRTH, DCU REBIRTH, SINESTRO CORPS WAR, BLACKEST NIGHT, FLASH:  IRON HEIGHTS and so on.   Currently, EVS is participating in DC’s mega event METAL, and he’s switching off as artist on the biweekly series HAL JORDAN AND THE GREEN LANTERN CORPS.

Married to international, best-selling comic artist David Finch and mother to three boys, Meredith has been steeped in the world of comics since meeting Finch in November 2005. She has been behind the stories of some of comic’s most iconic female heroines, including her best-selling run on Wonder Woman as well as Catwoman for DC Comics and Grimm Fairy Tales: The Little Mermaid for Zenescope.  Meredith recently made her first foray into the world of creator-owned comics.  Titled ROSE, her new fantasy series released through Image Comics in April of 2017 combines her love of mythology with her desire to explore the human condition and together with artist Ig Guara, Finch has woven together a rich tapestry of character and story that is sure to delight her many fans.

 

Dennis Calero at New Jersey Comic Expo this November!

Dennis Calero started writing and drawing comics and his client list includes Marvel and DC comics, Time/Warner and Sony Entertainment. He helped develop “Xmen Noir” for Marvel Comics . With writer and actor Todd Stashwick, Calero he co-wrote the pilot script “Clandestine” for SyFy. Dennis is currently writing and drawing “The Suit” for Dark Horse Comics. “The Suit” is a comedy-action series about a Wall Street assassin in the early 1980s.

Jeff has been with Archie Comics for the past 19 years and is with Sitcomics illustrating Super Suckers. He also drew the Tom and Jerry newspaper strip for two years and has illustrated stories for Boom Studios Peanuts comic.

Greg Land at New Jersey Comic Expo this November!

Greg has been a professional illustrator for thirty-two years. The past twenty as a comic book artist. Greg is a Terre Haute native and before graduating from Indiana State University with a BFA degree, he started his professional career in the screen print industry. After ten years of garment print designs, his lifelong dream to draw comics became a reality with a project called “Storm Quest” from Sky Comics. This led to work for DC Comics that included titles such as “Night Wing and Birds of Prey.”

Shortly after, Greg and his family, wife Trish and daughter Shelbi, moved to Florida where Greg began work with a new comic company called CrossGen Comics. There, Greg co-created their top selling book called “Sojourn” with writer Ron Marz.

Currently Greg is under contract with Marvel Comics. Some past projects that Greg has worked on for Marvel include “The Uncanny X-Men, Iron Man, Mighty Avengers and The Ultimate Fantastic Four” along with many exclusive covers for several other titles. Greg’s latest projects include illustrating the all new edition of The Uncanny X-Men, Monsters Unleashed and Weapon X.

Over the years Greg has drawn several projects for other media as well such as ESPN, ESPN the Magazine, the US Post Office-for a Marvel characters stamp project, and Wizard Magazine.

Greg enjoys his work immensely and considers himself very fortunate to have a job that he really loves.

Erica Schultz is joining us at NJCE17!

Erica Schultz is an American comic book writer, letterer, and editor best known for her work on the Charmed and Swords of Sorrow comic series with Gail Simone for Dynamite Entertainment, as well as her self published creator-owned crime series, M3 with Vicente Alcázar.

In 2012, Schultz and Alcázar won the Best Comic Book award at the Burbank International Film Festival for M3. Schultz scripted Marvel’s original graphic novel, Revenge: The Secret Origin of Emily Thorne and served as a founding co-editor on RISE: Comics Against Bullying published by Northwest Press, contributing a story of her own titled “Brothers In Arms.” She was also one of the writers chosen for DC Comics’ Talent Development Workshop pilot program in 2016.
